![]() Edited Februby dem0lsh0rĬurvature takes effect around 20 miles. How about you learn to not sail in straight lines, then and ONLY then, start talking. ![]() Then to top it all off they get 16 torp salvos? or whatever silly number it is.stupifing silliness.I would pay big bucks to see a UFC gold belt lay waste to WG developers and spport staff they are the worst of all online games.there is no "yes sir we will fix it to your satisfraction yesterday!" its all "our game our rules".true there isnt anything else like it out there but that is no reason to be a bunch of expletative jerks with small object between your legs.now buff the damn BB's cripes.there is no balance until BB's one shot DD's and CA's as often as DD's and CA's one shot BB's which is quite often.to those who disagree and post a bunch of drivel.i didnt ask you what you thought so go hug a bear at the zoo. Edited Februby SnargfargleĪs much as i hate them invisable subs I hate the game mechanics that give them definate damage upon hitting my BB with torps but when i fire a salvo i dont know what damage ill do to them if any. If anyone on your side can spot an enemy target, can communicate its position to you, and your shells have the range to reach it, you can hit it, whether you are detected by the enemy or not. ![]() Unless there was an emergency, such as if an enemy armored column was to show up necessitating a direct fire mission, all of our fire was over the horizon, with the howitzers remaining undetected by the enemy. I presume that you know all of this as it is common knowledge and, thus, are just trolling a bit here. In part, this is reflected in the game's mechanics. For instance, an observer up in the crow's nest of a tall ship might be able to see 20km, which another on its deck would be able to spot other ships at only 10 km. Also, the higher up you are the farther you can effectively see. ![]() When sailing away, smaller ships fall out of sight quicker than larger and taller ones. In fact, it was because of the fact that a ship went out of sight over the horizon that people started realizing that the earth was not flat in the first place. Ships at sea are not visible forever due to the curvature of the earth. ![]()
